Muddy Hands
First Time Trial Workshop (Suitable for all ages)
This 2-3 hour workshop is perfect for an afternoon of team bonding, or for anyone who would like to try their hands at ceramics.
During the workshop, participants will be introduced to clay as a medium, and learn about how it can be used to create functional forms. Participants will be guided to complete their pieces, and through the process, pick up basic hand-building skills as well as an overall understanding of how to handle clay as a medium for art.
At the end of the workshop, participants will have completed their own functional forms, such as a mug or bowl. We will glaze and fire the completed pieces, and participants can choose to pick them up from the studio or have them mailed to their preferred location.
